Vom 3. bis 5. Mai läuft in Leipzig der Medientreffpunkt Mitteldeutschland. Den gibt es seit einigen Jahren; eine extrem aufwendige Veranstaltung (40 Podien, 200 Referenten) - dieses Jahr gilt das Motto „Substanz, Kreativität, Urteilsstärke“. Hier ein Bild von 2009:
Ich wurde eingeladen um am DIENSTAG den 4. MAI 2010, 11:30 - 13:00 am Podium „Urheberrechte und neue Ertragsmodelle in einer revolutionierten Medienwelt“ teilzunehmen. Mit dabei: Christian Bollert (detektor.fm), Christian Czirnich (Rechtsanwalt), Martin Fröhlich und Felix Hofmann (PaperC), René Meyer (Autor) und Mathias Schindler (Wikimedia Deutschland). Ich werde versuchen ein paar handfeste Tipps beizusteuern: was kann man als Filmemacher von einem Internet-Filmrelease erwarten und was nicht. Herzlichen Dank an Cathrin Günzel und Sebastian Späthe von brainville für die Einladung.
Ich rede immer sehr gerne auf kleineren "Subkultur-Events", aber man muss auch mal den Veranstaltern solcher Mammut-Events danken, die sich um Förderungen, zuverlässige Organisation, gute Technik usw. kümmern. Ich freu mich drauf. Aktuelles dann auch noch via Twitter.

We will be active participants in a free culture of connectivity and production, made possible as it never was before by the Internet and digital technology, and we will fight to prevent this new potential from being locked down by corporate and legislative control.
